What We Do
The Camp David Internship is a nine month program where students choose to immerse themselves into an
environment that is designed to facilitate growth in both spiritual depth and practical experience.
The program consists of approximately twenty-five hours a week spent ministering before the Lord and
serving/participating in the various activities and events that are currently available at the Chicago House
of Prayer. The internship schedule includes:
-
Time spent in the prayer room involving prophetic
intercession, apostolic prayer, contemplative silence
and devotional worship
-
Training in the Chicago House of Prayer harp and bowl
method of worship and prayer
-
Large-group teachings on the Song of Solomon, the Life
of David, the Forerunner Spirit, the Fasted Lifestyle and the Bridal Paradigm
-
Exclusive small-group teaching/ministry
-
A weekly book study, covering books on the contemplative
lifestyle and prayer by a variety of Christian authors
-
Completing weekly/monthly logistical tasks around the
House of Prayer (cleaning, restocking, decorating, etc.)
-
Lots of fun and fellowship opportunities (movie nights,
day trips, cook-outs, etc.)
